Silk Island Half-Day Cruise & Tour

A scenic morning cruise with snacks to Silk Island followed by a guided tour of silk farms, pagodas, and plantations. Once back onboard, as the boat cruises down the Mekong, a delicious all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch is prepared (if purchased with ticket: set menu, made to order). Following lunch service, the boat will return to the pickup point for passenger drop-off. The trip to/from Silk Island takes about 1 hour.


Cambo Cruise bar offers original cocktails, tea, coffee, or beer for purchase at land prices. In addition, our onboard á la carte menu offers a great selection of Western and Khmer favorites.


All food is freshly prepared and made to order onboard with local, organic ingredients, no chemicals, or MSG (vegetarian/ vegan options available).

Route

  1. Riverside Path, Phnom Penh

Cruising along the Phnom Penh riverfront, enjoy the view from the upper deck or down on the main deck for a more cozy experience near the bar. Passing the Royal Palace, see the junction of the Tonle Sap, Mekong, and Bassac rivers. Up the Mekong River, you will see floating villages and fishing families living on their boats.


Docking at Silk Island, you are a short ride away from the silk farms. Along the way, you pass through plantations and pagodas and see village life. You can watch the intricate process of fabricating silk from larvae to finished goods at silk farms. 

The boat will be open for food, drinks, relaxing, or using the facilities while in port.

Once back onboard, as the boat cruises down the Mekong, a delicious all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch (if purchased with ticket: set menu, made to order). Following lunch service, the boat will return to the pickup point for passenger drop-off.
